Prince Charles Visit To Waitangi

On Wednesday the 20th of November 2019 Prince Charles visited Waitangi.
Room 1 was lucky enough to get to go to Waitangi to help welcome him and the Duchess of Cornwall (Camilla) to Waitangi.
We got to sing after the speakers as their mihi tautoko.
Te Rau Pou Manawa o Kawakawa got to be part of the haka powhiri and also got to sing waitata to Prince Charles when he was down at the waka house.
It was a very special day for us to be able to do this and be in the presence of the future King.
